Time fly's

Im counting down the hours now. Im down to only about 24 hours until i see my fiance'! Im so excited...im leaving early tomorrow morning. I woke up this morning and realized also that my birthday is a week a one day from now....i can't believe that im going to be 22! I remember my dad telling me before i left for college that "college would be one of the best times in my life but would fly by so fast that i should cherish every minute and moment"...i didn't actually believe him until a few days ago. It felt like just yesterday I was 18, loading up my little old civic to drive up to Arkansas to begin my freshman year...crazy! i can't believe im in my senior year now!

Carrie Underwood

This morning i was working out on the eliptical and I had the Tv on GAC like i always do when i workout. Carrie Underwood's song "just a dream" came on ( i think its one of her new songs)...anway I had heard this song before on the radio but it was the first time i had actually seen the music video. The video actually made me tear up, it's probably one of the best music video's ive ever seen but one of the saddest. if you haven't seen it it's totally worth googling on the internet and watching it...let me know what you think?!! (it probably made me a little more emotional than others b/c my fiance' is in the Army)

Counting down the days

Dan is graduating from infantry school on Novemeber 14th. The best part is im driving down to Fort Benning to see him graduate in about 3 days!!!! Im so excited! Im counting down the hours and mintues until i will see him again. I had to arrange to take a test early in one of my classes because i will be leaving early early wedesday morning to make the 11 hour drive to Fort Benning but, of course it's worth it! It might be a little harder spring semester to arrange these mini trips to Fort Benning because im taking 18 hours. Its going to be tough but i know i can do it! I just can't wait to graduate so i can fianlly move on base with Dan and we can concetrate on starting our lives together.

Missing him

I finally got to talk to my Fiance (Dan) last night on the phone. He was in the field for a week straight doing field exercises so we weren't able to talk...it was the longest week of my life! It's so hard being away from the person you love the most. He loves being a soldier and i know he is good at it and i have always supported him 100%. I'm determined to brush up on my army terms so im not so clueless when Dan talks about army terms and codes! haha. it makes me smile tho. I love him so much and I can't wait to set a date for our wedding! We are hoping to get married in august 09' but it all depends on the army and where he is at in his training...im planning on being done with my degree in august also so we can start our life together. I can't wait till we are together again!
